Job Description

TMW are a leading integrated creative agency, based across three locations – London, Bristol, and Reading. We’ve been around for over 30 years, with a strong heritage in building long-term relationships with our clients.

With big brands like Vodafone, Freesat, GTR, Oak Furniture Land, Ferrero, Aviva, Prince’s Trust, BMW, Barratt Homes, and Coca Cola, our client roster is full of creative possibility. We also have a coveted position on the Government roster (as part of the Unlimited Group); recent wins include the Cabinet Office and HMRC, meaning we run some of the most important public service communications in the UK.

As a team, we create Ideas That Move People – ideas that engage emotionally and drive action. We deliver disruptive, truly integrated creativity that’s informed by a deeper understanding of human decision making and behaviour. Our strategy team have access to unrivalled insight through Unlimited’s Human Understanding Lab, a team of expert neuroscientists and behavioural scientists.

This is a chance to join a unique agency culture where the passion for people is as strong as the work.

What you will do…

Overview:

We’re looking for a talented creative team to create brilliantly unexpected campaigns for all our clients and add even more winning oomph to new business pitches.

In a nutshell:

• You love coming with unexpected ideas

• You’re driven to win awards and pitches

• You have craft skills and can articulate your vision

• You understand how to use different channels to bring your ideas to life

• You put as much effort into the little jobs as you do the big ones

• You collaborate well with everyone, and are proactive

The role:

We believe that creativity can make anything better, whether it’s a film for a youth brand or an email for bank – so you’ll have a portfolio filled with surprising ideas, across a range of sectors and channels.

You’ll have the hunger and commitment to see things through, which means craft skills are essential. We like writers who love to write and art directors who obsess about the little details and the big picture.

You’ll work well with colleagues from all departments, collaborating with CDs, designers, motion designers and planners, as well as external suppliers like photographers, directors and illustrators, to make every piece of work the best it can be.

You’ll enjoy the chance to present your own work, whether to internal stakeholders or to clients. With strong agency experience behind you, you’ll be looking for the next step so you can keep learning and keep progressing.

What you will need to succeed …

• Show brilliant cross-channel conceptual ability

  • Create a range of best-in-class concepts to present to creative directors

• Demonstrate strong craft skills

• Work alongside other disciplines to make your vision a reality

• Tackle all projects – large and small – with gusto

• Present confidently to colleagues and clients

• Knowledge of Creative Suite

• Ensure client work is always on brand

• Keep up to speed with industry innovations and trends

• Understand the different needs and possibilities of different channels

• Defend work with passion but pragmatism

• Proactively contribute to the department, or otherwise assist where needed

• Challenge briefs and feedback where appropriate in a constructive way

• Add value to every project
