Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Video Content & Social-Media Executive Producer to join our newly established in-house content studio at The Art Society. We are launching Cultur.art – a new content-led initiative to make the arts mean more to an entirely new generation of people. The candidate will hold the reins in establishing, building and shaping the studio from the outset. It’s an incredible opportunity for someone passionate about art and content. An example of this new concept can be seen in a pilot program on TikTok. A passion for the arts is important and knowledge and access into this world would be hugely helpful in this role.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating engaging and effective video content for social-media platforms, such as YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. They will also have experience of developing and executing content strategies, managing teams, and working with talent. You will be able to manage complex and busy day-to-day schedules and be creative and effective in developing and producing new formats for various platforms that both hit the editorial aims of the Studio and resonate with our target audience.

They will expertly write scripts in various TOVs that suit both the target audience and the platforms on which they sit.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute content strategies for social-media platforms
  • Manage a team of video producers and editors
  • Work with creatives to develop concepts and scripts
  • Liaise with in-house art experts to uphold very highest editorial standards
  • Shoot and edit videos
  • Optimise videos for social media
  • Measure and analyse the performance metrics of videos and platforms
  • Produce monthly performance reports

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in film, video production, or a related field.

10+ years of experience in video production / content creation and social media operations and management within an agency or company.

Experience of working with social-media platforms & an understanding of the different approach social platforms required.

  • Strong creative and strategic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
