Working Hours: Part- Time, 2 days per week. 12 month Fixed-Term contract.
Salary: £24,000 - £25,000 (FTE)
Role: The Marketing Coordinator role at ORCA will play a pivotal role in crafting engaging marketing campaigns, captivating website and social media content. You will assist in the management and growth of all relevant retained accounts, as well as ORCA’s own brand comms and marketing. For some accounts this will be actively working to grow social following, for others it will be helping to generate ideas for campaigns to support the launch and successful running of a product or service.
You’ll be working directly with ORCA’s AM and multiple members of the creative team to craft compelling content, alongside third party suppliers from time-to-time.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Management & Copywriting
Ideation, planning and scheduling of both proactive and reactive social media content across multiple digital platforms
Create beautifully made and compelling content that engages and grows audiences
Create an ongoing plan for growth
Write creative editorial content including blogs, articles, features and email campaigns
Community Management
Handling any queries through social media
Share insights with the rest of the team on a weekly basis to help inspire new ideas/ products.
Manage and maintain ORCA’s brand comms
Creative Delivery
Assist accounts team with briefing in designers to request assets for specific campaigns
Collaborate with the designers to ensure successful delivery of assets and projects
Attend meetings and presentations, when required, participating in conversation and taking detailed notes to aid analysis
Contribute to meetings for relevant retained accounts
Digital Marketing
Assist in the management of the digital marketing schedule to ensure weekly and monthly deadlines are met
Input into SEO, PPC and other forms of digital advertising
Research & Analyse
Carry out regular social media audits, competitor analysis, audience research and influencer research
Define target audiences, demographics, cultural sectors and other customer groups to influence brand positioning
Analyse data trends and consumer behaviour to define company positioning
Assess the performance of events, advertising and digital campaigns to inform future campaigns and marketing activity
Stay up-to-date on consumer behaviour and market trends to identify insights, challenges and opportunities
Essential Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar agency role and environment
A proactive, passionate outlook to work and targets
Confident, sociable, gregarious and driven
Excellent communication skills. Both written and oral, outwardly and inwardly facing
Patient, attentive and open to listen
Ability to multitask and manage clients and projects
Ability to collaborate effectively and drive own ideas
