PROJECT MANAGER

Project Management

• Managing the accounts of multiple clients, working on up to 5 – 10 projects simultaneously, all at varying stages of design, production or installation.

• Manage projects from start to finish, from brief through to implementation, constantly prioritising and staying on top of all aspects of the project.

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, multitask and to demonstrate an organised, efficient and proactive approach to all tasks.

• Good understanding of the creative design process and a strong knowledge of production techniques, suppliers and materials (including reading technical drawings)

• Working with and managing the design and production teams, external suppliers, contractors and freelancers to ensure that deadlines are achieved, and the client brief is met.

• Implements internal processes and drives use of status documents and critical paths.

• On-site management for events, installations and de-rigs. Including management of 3rd party suppliers/ event staff.

• Strength in building supplier relationships with outstanding negotiation skills and ability to conduct thorough quality checks.

Project Accounting

• Responsible for key client’s financial accountability including project estimating’s, quotes, reconciles and invoicing.

• Responsible for billing schedules and invoicing, ensuring any deviations from forecast are flagged to the SPM/PD.

• Proactive account management, fully briefing clients at all times and ensuring that a great rapport is created. Managing client relations to an excellent standard.

• Has awareness of longer term account requirements and proactively initiates projects and opportunities.

• Managing the client’s expectations of sign off dates and achievability with the understanding of the client’s commercial objectives.

Team Development & Communication

• Demonstrating excellent communication skills when liaising with suppliers and internally; ability to communicate clearly and concisely in person, over the phone and via email, demonstrating diplomacy and good negotiation skills.

• Solution focused with a positive outlook; ability to juggle a number of projects simultaneously, resourceful, highly organised and a good team player.

• Takes the lead in generating and presenting wrap presentations and contributes to larger response documents.

• Honed leadership skills to delegate and manage junior team members.

• Line management of Project Coordinator / Account Executive

Key Skills

• Mac literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

• Passionate, self-motivated with the ability to show initiative, willing to immerse themselves in the brands they work with.

• Creative idea generation and willingness to input creatively and add value wherever possible.

• Ability to think commercially in the interest of the business.

• Exceptional problem solving skills and excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to work autonomously at senior level where required.

• A consistently calm and patient approach, able to remain organised and positive when dealing with multiple requests.

Experience required:

* 2 year+ experience in a PM/AM level role working with budgets of £100k+

*Proven client / supplier management, budget creation & management through to onsite delivery.

This is an office-based role that will require you to spend time in meetings and briefings, as well as staying in close contact with clients. It can be demanding, but very rewarding! Working hours will be standard office times; however, deadlines and installations may stretch this further.
