Reviva Softworks is an independent company with a portfolio of successful health & lifestyle apps.

We have a brilliant opportunity for a creative and visually-driven person to become part of our team as a Digital Illustrator & Motion Designer working on a wide range of assets for our leading apps.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating original vector illustrations and animations. You will also work collaboratively with our Design, UX and Marketing Managers to support the development of brand assets, icons, marketing materials and support on UI/UX tasks. As a company, our working style is very collaborative and everybody has input in the creative direction of our apps.

Our first app SnoreLab is a top-ranked health app that has helped countless people with their sleep and snoring problems. Since its launch in 2012, SnoreLab has achieved over 12 million downloads, with a 4.5-star rating and Editor’s Choice.

Over the past few years, we have been developing a brand new sleep tracking and smart alarm app called Sleepwave. Launched in 2022, Sleepwave has a 4.6 rating, beautiful design and features patent-pending technology that transforms your phone into a contactless motion sensor. With a focus on helping people to understand their sleep and start their days better, Sleepwave has the potential to become a leading sleep tracking app.

This position would be perfect for an individual who has a strong conceptual and artistic skills, creativity, and imagination. Fluency on design and motion software (Adobe Illustrator and After Effects), ability to illustrate and work in a variety of styles and mediums teamed with basic knowledge in UI/UX, brand design and willingness to learn new things. A strong portfolio is more important than previous experience.

About the role

  • Sketch and brainstorm illustration ideas with our founder and team members
  • Conceptualise and create beautiful original vector illustrations to be used across a range of applications (apps, content marketing, paid advertising, social media)
  • Conceptualise and create animations and motion graphics for our apps and marketing materials
  • Work collaboratively with the Design team to conceptualise and design beautiful and functional icons
  • Work within our illustration style but help to develop new styles that are scalable and reusable for different platforms
  • Create beautiful colour palettes that are consistent with our brand guidelines
  • Support Product and Design team members on UI/UX and visual design work
  • Keeping illustrations and motion graphics files up to date and providing relevant assets to the Development team

About you

Essential:

  • A degree or relevant experience in design/ other art and design-related subjects
  • World-class illustration skills
  • Excellent animation and motion graphics skills
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Organisation skills and a strong eye for detail
  • Proven experience with illustration, animation and motion design
  • Good understanding on icon design, UI/UX, brand design and typography
  • An eye for colour
  • Passionate about good design

Software skills:

Essential: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Lottie (in After Effects)

Nice to have: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Sketch or equivalent prototyping software, Zeplin
