Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced, positive and highly organised producer to join Knock Knock. You’ll be producing primarily filmed content with occasional animated projects for clients big and small, including social content, brand films, studio shoots and TVCs.

We’re a high performing production studio with an impressive roster of clients, including Ralph Lauren, Burberry, Three Mobile and Peloton. We shoot around the world and you may be required to travel from time to time.

Our office is based in London Bridge and while there is flexibility with home working, we have moved back to a more office based work pattern in recent months.

Who is a Knock Knock video producer?

Very Well Organized - Punctual and methodical, with a stellar memory, and with airtight organizational skills. You are the person the team will count on to be on top of everything. You will be expected to keep track of many projects at once without letting details slide through the cracks.

Flexible - Humble and willing to tackle sometimes mundane but essential tasks with overall willingness to learn.

Resourceful - The ability to secure talent, locations, and resources quickly. Can pivot and adapt to unforeseen circumstances that often arise. The expertise to foresee when outside resources are necessary.

Autonomous - The ability to take direction, but needs a little management and oversight to get the job done. Can manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Goal-focused - The drive to complete tasks smoothly and efficiently.

Positive/Charismatic - A people-person who knows how to get the best out of their team, while maintaining a great relationship with trusted vendors, creatives, and freelancers. Skilled at managing multiple parties involved with one project and keeping all players happy while maintaining the creative vision.

Entrepreneurial - The desire to approach jobs with a problem solving attitude which maximizes returns whilst still delivering outstanding content and building client relationships.

Versatile - Anyone with extra strings to their bow. E.g. social media, PR, video editing etc is always useful.

Your daily activities will include:

  • Producing moving image projects from start to finish.
  • Liaising with clients at each stage of production and providing regular updates.
  • Maintaining excellent client relationships.
  • Managing production schedules.
  • Making judgment calls
  • Briefing internal and external resources on daily activities.
  • Making budgets and predicting spend.
  • Booking freelancers and equipment.
  • Maintaining excellent relationships freelancers and kit hire companies
  • Producing call sheets.
  • Coordinating filmed shoots, including crew, kit, talent, locations and logistics.
  • On-location producing at film shoots.
  • Edit producing with editors and animators.
  • Reviewing and proofing videos.
  • Managing client feedback with the production team.
  • Ensuring diligent upkeep of Knock Knock production process software (Poductive, Dext, Google and Slack)
  • Ensuring all client work being done is consistent with brief, brand and budget.
  • Communicating clearly with clients and colleagues

You’re ideal for this role if you:

  • Have a proven track record of producing content for a minimum of 3 years at a content studio, social media or digital / creative agency.
  • Love process and have extremely high attention to detail.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced agency/studio environment.
  • Enjoy being client-facing.
  • Can manage multiple projects at once in different stages of production.
  • Strike the perfect balance between being organised and creative.
  • Are a pleasure to work with – you’re considerate of colleagues and generally great to have around.
  • Understand how videos can be distributed and used within marketing strategies.

The benefits:

A salary of £35,000 – £45,000 (dependent on experience)

25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays and an extra day off on your birthday.
