Job Description
A fiercely independent creative agency based in central London is looking for a junior-mid weight designer.

We make websites for independent craft beers and global charities.
We make TV ads around the world.
We make press, tube and billboard ads you can show your mum.

We make banner ads for bananas and social films for shakes.
We make presentations… that actually look exciting.
We make trips to lunch together.
We make hangovers in Switzerland, Barcelona, Marrakech, France and Portugal.
We have a head of humour (Neil’s dad from the inbetweeners… seriously).

About You:
You will be a strong all-rounder who is passionate about all areas of design and have a real affinity for new technology. Personality is key to us. We require a candidate who is bursting with a real love for what they do. We are an independent agency of creative, ambitious, and energetic people. We love what we do and we love working with each other. It’s therefore key that you are someone who likes working as part of a team, but can also self-motivate when they’re on their own (we embrace both working from home and coming into the office together). You’ll be a good organiser and can contribute to a fun, vibrant agency culture.
We are looking for a candidate who can deliver outstanding work in the following areas:
Branding:
You will have a strong approach to branding from a strategic and conceptual perspective and can take it through to execution. Including creation of brand assets and working within existing brand guidelines. You will be confident in presenting brand world concepts to clients.
Advertising & Gen AI, Print Production:
You should have some experience in producing layouts for advertising including print and packaging. Art direction, typography and image re-touching are key. You should have some experience of producing and supplying artwork for all types of media and be involved in proofing the final artwork. Any candidate should demonstrate the highest level of attention to detail. In an ever changing world, you’ll also be keen to try new AI platforms, and hopefully have some experience in creating designs and assets with this new tools.
Website & Digital:
You should have good knowledge of current digital trends, an understanding of typography for website design, colour theory, layout principles, web standards, best practice and user experience. This will ensure the design process works from brief to concept across mobile, web and email design.
Skill and speed:
Sometimes you’ll have weeks and months to finesse your designs, but of course the nature of advertising is that sometimes you’ll also need to be responsive and reactionary to what is happening in the world.So, you’ll need to be able to produce high quality work you’re proud to stand behind in just a few hours too.
