Job Description

Not Actual Size is a collective of creatives and strategists who build respect for brands. We are an independent, employee-owned B Corp, working in partnership with Global brands such as Dove, Sure/Rexona, and Roche.

Our services cover the digital creative spectrum – from truly social-first content creation to turning unseen insights into big campaign ideas. We also never forget the beautiful basics and take pride in crafting product pages or lifestyle shots that truly resonate – for us, every detail matters. Our strategy team works closely with our creative team and client partners, providing data, insights and reporting to influence decisions and boost innovation.

Our team has been continually growing and we’re looking for big thinkers, dot joiners and meaning makers to join us – we have big plans for the future and are looking for ambitious, proactive and experienced senior content managers to help us go to the next level.

About the role

In your role, you will begin to lead client relationships and be responsible for driving accounts forwards. At Not Actual Size, the Content Management team are brand guardians who work with clients like partners, immersing themselves in their brands' worlds, and ensuring that all output is best in class.

You will be responsible for:

  • Working with a Content Director to set and drive the scope of work with the Client. At key points in the year, you will be input to ensure that we are proposing and securing the adequate scope of work which is delivering to both Client and agency ambitions. In this you will be mentored to gain responsibility with a view to progression to Director level and accountability in this area.
  • Setting and maintaining high quality standards across all areas of the account, from best in class content output to rigour in account management and planning. We aim to produce the best work and compete at the highest level – you will support the Content Director and take responsibility for not only maintaining but also guiding continual improvement.
  • Ensuring you are up to date with the latest digital trends and technologies – providing both the internal team and Client with best-practice guidance and inspiration.
  • Acting as a junior leader across a multi-functional team ensuring clear WoWs and collaboration, requiring clear understanding of R&Rs across specialisms (strategy, creative, production) and working with each team (and team member) to manage deliverables.
  • Day-to-day management across a small team of juniors – ensuring the team is working efficiently and in line with company values and expectations. At Not Actual Size we pride ourselves in team management and providing all team members with development opportunities. You will be responsible for ensuring you are guiding and managing your team with care and fostering a positive, collaborative working environment. In a challenging, fast-paced and ever-evolving account, you will be responsible for working with the senior team to motivate the team and ensure energy levels are maintained.

About you:

  • You are an ambitious and curious individual – interested in the world around you and with a passion for bringing high quality content to life
  • You have experience in managing people (minimum of 2 people) and are developing management and mentoring skills
  • Whilst you are not a ‘creative’ (writer / designer etc) you have good content judgement and have experience working with creative teams and on creative projects. You are able to guide creative teams and direct / project manage across these workstreams
  • You are detail-oriented and are able to apply rigour to ensure standards are maintained. You are an excellent project manager and communicator
  • You have a minimum of 3 years agency experience – with clear, demonstrative experience in managing clients and a small team
