We’re really excited to be creating a new role at The HudsonBec Group and are looking for a Talent Manager to join our team!

The successful candidate will be working closely with HR and hiring managers across all businesses within the group, finding and building great relationships with talent across all departments.

This is a new role and one to really make your own - We think it would be perfect for an ex-recruiter, resource manager or someone who wants to take the leap from making great creative work to finding the people to make it!

Ideal Candidate:

  • An excellent people-person and keen networker
  • Has a can-do and pro-active attitude
  • Passionate about the creative industry and the people that make it happen!
  • Comfortable working under pressure at busy times and across different tasks at once
  • Experience working within the creative industry or creative recruitment
  • As an external representative for the group, an enthusiastic, positive attitude and being a strong communicator and confident presenter is essential
  • A strong understanding of all the roles that make great creative work across the following departments; Creatives, Project Management, Editorial and Digital
  • Has an extensive network of talent and contacts across all creative industry roles

Tasks:

  • Researching talent for multiple roles, key areas will include; creatives, designers, project managers, strategists etc
  • Pre-empting talent needs, you understand the ebbs and flows of project work, pencilling talent before a need arises
  • Networking and attending events, consistently building upon your black book of talent
  • Creating and maintaining a database of go to freelance and full time talent for the group
  • Hosting talent events for hiring managers within the group
  • Working closely with the HR team to arrange interviews, contracts etc
  • Vetting, shortlisting and confirming availability for freelance roles
  • Giving feedback to candidates
  • Staying in touch and maintaining your relationships with talent building a strong HBG talent community!
  • Working closely with Resourcing teams within each business to understand talent needs required
  • Working closely with HR to manage projects and initiatives that provide more inclusive access to job opportunities
  • Being an ambassador and external representative for the group

Details:

  • Salary: £33,000 - £38,000 DOE
  • Reporting into: Senior HR Manager
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am — 5pm (flexible hours between 8am – 7pm except Fridays) - This role is based within the studio with many of the team still working remotely
