Job Description
Tom Faulkner is an award-winning creative business making beautiful and distinctive furniture and accessories. We have workshops in Wiltshire and showrooms in London and New York. In addition, we are represented in several “partner” showrooms in North America, and one in Japan.
We are looking for a dynamic and creative Marketing Manager to join the team. This is a new and exciting opportunity for somebody who is ambitious, passionate about marketing, has an interest in the interiors/design world.
Overview
As Marketing Manager you will be responsible for organising and overseeing all of our marketing and comms activities - from social media to photographic shoots - helping to increase brand awareness and grow sales both in the UK and the USA.
Strategic Responsibilities
• Make, plan, and oversee a Marketing Plan for the business to achieve TF sales and Brand goals, encompassing all marketing activity.
• Analyse relevant marketing data / TF sales data
• Identify and analyse competition
• Identify exhibitions/shows – which ones, where, when
• Explore collaborations & brand opportunities – with interesting brands / other makers
Management Responsibilities
• Manage:
o Website (inc. SEO)
o Advertising campaigns & Newsletters
o Exhibitions
o Events for press and consumers
o All Marketing & Sales Collateral
o Photoshoots - Choosing photographers and locations and managing Art Director
o New furniture launches
• Work with our partner showrooms (in the US) on all marketing initiatives
• Manage and work with our PR team(s) and Social media executive
• Oversee all graphic design content
• Manage newsletters – write content, and execute alongside our graphic designer
General
• Ensure all content, and all collateral is on brand, and consistent with TF core values.
Skills/experience required
• Three+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Thorough understanding of marketing principles and practices
• Thorough understanding of Social Media
• Management skills
• Excellent IT skills
• Strong copywriting skills
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Adobe creative suite
