Job Description

Are you a senior digital designer who thinks beyond the pixel? Do you have social in your DNA, a strategic head on your shoulders and a passion for understanding what makes people tick? If you’ve got the chops, we want you.

With brand at its heart and user experience in mind, Bulletproof digital design is a mindset, not just a skillset. Whether through UI, AR / VR, 3D, motion, content or gamification, we’re on a mission to revolutionise and elevate top brands with ground-breaking digital-physical, interactive design. We’re conceptually led, tech-neutral in our output and never let the tail wag the dog. Sound good? Show us your best!

ABOUT US:

• 300+ strong global design agency

• 100% independent

• 24 years young

• 6 studios around the world

Bulletproof is a creative powerhouse run by creatives—a place where liked-minded individuals come together to deliver brilliant ideas. Truly independent, we pride ourselves on shunning convention and getting sh*t done; above all, we march to the beat of our own drum.

You don’t need a degree to get a job at Bulletproof: we choose talent over title and seek people with energy, passion and soul.

At Bulletproof we have three core beliefs:

WE BELIEVE GREAT IDEAS CHANGE THE WORLD...

We believe in the power of design to influence human behaviour, affect change and pierce conventions.

WE BELIEVE PEOPLE MAKE THE DIFFERENCE...

That true collaborative spirit creates a compelling, infectious energy that delivers outstanding commercial results.

STAY NAÏVE…

We believe naivety keeps you relentlessly curious, open to possibilities and leads to purer, more interesting and uncharted solutions.

THE ROLE:

With solid agency experience working within a digital design discipline, you’ll have unreal knowledge of digital media and a born belief that anything’s possible when big ideas, brands and tech collide.

As Senior Digital Designer, you’ll be required to:

• Work across a wide variety of digital channels and touchpoints—ranging from websites, social media and apps to immersive, sensory, augmented and virtual experiences

• Work with our motion team to develop interaction principles for brands

• Work with our structural 3D team to design immersive, tech-enabled experiences

• Work with our creative technologists on R&D experiments

• Work on conceptual ideas with an active interest in design strategy and design thinking

• Craft modern identities and systems that flex and adapt to people and technology

• Design brands to be inclusive and accessible online

• Art direct e-commerce imagery, digital comms and social content

• Lead the creation of digital-first work such as hi-fidelity prototypes and interactive content

• Deliver inspirational brand books and guidelines, exploring non-traditional formats

SKILLS YOU’LL NEED:

• Solid understanding of branding and visual identity design, as well as the role digital plays within the total customer experience

• Exceptional attention to detail and excellent communication skills

• Organised and efficient. You know when to be free-thinking vs. meticulous.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; be flexible and responsive

• Ability to work in a team across a number of projects

• Ability to work intuitively, rapidly finding the straightest line to a proof-of-concept if a project’s timings require it. You don’t need reams of UX in the brief to get going

• A diverse knowledge of creative digital software and innovative technologies and a curious mind

REQUIRED SOFTWARE:

• Figma, Framer, Adobe XD or Sketch

• Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign

• Keynote

DESIRED SOFTWARE:

We are software-neutral and use whatever tools we need to best deliver our creative concepts to clients. We also need to work with digital production experts and understand the technical tools they use. We don’t expect you to know these inside out, but you’ll have basic skill or awareness of these tools, or a willingness to learn:

• After Effects

• Simple, no-code bespoke website platforms such as Webflow, Readymag or Ceros

• Common ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, Squarespace or AEM

• AR platforms such as Spark AR, Lens Studio or Zappar

• Web-based 3D and animation techniques such as Three.js and Lottie

• Dynamic advertising tools such as Facebook Creative Hub or Celtra

• Basic coding for enhanced Framer prototypes (React)

• Miro
