Overview

At Bureau for Visual Affairs we plan, design and develop user-experiences across culture, fashion and lifestyle, focusing on what defines today’s institutions and brands: experience, content and relevancy. We are looking for a Digital Project Manager to join our dynamic and growing team in Borough, London.

Responsibilities

In this role you will work across our wide range of projects from large-scale content platforms to e-commerce. You will collaborate with our Technical Lead, Studio Manager and Director to shape timelines for project development, from design handover through to launch deadlines and ongoing support. Your role will involve working closely with our clients and team members and will be crucial to successful project delivery.

You will:

  • Assist in the creation of project timelines and scope
  • Ensure team members and client stakeholders are kept up-to-date on progress and milestones
  • Highlight upcoming risks and dependencies in advance
  • Liaise with clients to capture new feature requests and bug reports
  • Develop our internal processes and workflows to improve efficiency and service
  • Develop our selection of project management tools

About you

We are looking for a highly-motivated and organised individual who would thrive as a key member of a close knit team. You should be comfortable working on complex projects with shifting requirements and priorities . This role will be ideal for someone looking to develop their experience with the design and development of digital products.

You should have:

  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Ability to create clear and accurate timelines for project delivery
  • Ability to coordinate multiple concurrent projects based on available team resources and client requirements
  • Previous experience in a software development agency or other digital production environment

We would love to see:

  • An understanding of core web development terminology and processes
  • A good understanding of current project management tools such as Slack, TeamGantt, Asana, Monday etc
