The Role

The Wild is looking for a Content Strategist who recognises how brands need to think, talk and act in the new world – and understands the difference between social content pollution and effective multi-channel storytelling.

You’ll love all things social & content analytics, and use your skills to help clients – new and existing – to put effective social-first content strategy at the heart of their marketing plan. From gleaning data and insight to developing cohesive content frameworks, you’ll understand how to help brands make the most of social platforms to deliver against business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Play a vital role in our strategy team, using content/social analytics to power social-first campaigns and strategies that drive business effects not vanity metrics
  • Work with strategists, creative strategists & creative to make sure all proposals are underpinned by robust data & insight; from always-on content strategy to multi-channel campaigns
  • Develop social strategies for clients including; content framework & pillars, activation plans, audience research & identification
  • Work closely with social media management teams to support performance reporting – for both retained and campaign-only clients
  • Help to bring strategy & paid media teams closer together, joining the dots between planning & buying
  • Pitch & present to internal and external teams; from research panels to campaign reports, content framework development to campaign architectures, you’ll be the go-to brain for anyone who wants to understand the world of social audiences and social-first campaigns
  • Develop thought-leadership papers and webinars based on cutting edge insight gleaned from our proprietary data engine: DiscoverIQ

Background and Experience

  • Agency experience working in a strategy, content strategy, or content analyst role/department
  • Proven success in developing content strategies for impactful campaigns
  • Fluent in all things social media: obsessed with mastering social ecosystems to deliver business effects
  • Strong & demonstrable experience with a range of data & insight tools

Skills & Competencies

  • Experience with social listening tools and data & insight tools
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong communication skills
