Social media manager
Job Description
We are looking for someone who loves using social media to help brands tell compelling, genuine and visually engaging stories. You must have at least a year or two's decent experience of running national / global brand profiles and proof of generating great visuals and brilliant copy leading to high levels of social engagement and ideally business results.

The Tom Sawyer Effect is a social media plug-in agency that has worked alongside some of the UK’s top advertising and PR agencies over the last fifteen years, working on campaigns in the entertainment, charity, education, technology, cultural and FMCG industries.
We have a similar mixture of current clients, including a plant-based cleaning brand, a premium water brand, the Estate of a world leading 20th Century artist and the biggest immersive experience currently running in London.
We also partner with a live Instagram broadcast company and run immersive / emerging tech experiences on the side and are currently working on a VR experience testing people's performance and decision making abilities under pressure.

We are currently based out of Shoreditch Exchange in Hoxton where we work a couple of days per week and the rest of the week work remotely.

We are looking for...
- a digital evangelist who gets excited about the potential of digital tools and technologies and content
- a hands on social media content creator, copywriter and account manager
- someone who is self-motivated and conscientiously well organised, but also a team player and ready and able to deal with our clients directly
- someone with experience in both the creative content planning side and the more tactical implementation, including: theme planning, asset design, publishing, promotion, measurement and evaluation
In more detail, you should have:
Qualifications and experience
·At least two years full-time social media campaign experience for reasonable sized brands
·A passion for creating brilliant social content and conversation
Skills
• A confident and consistent communicator in both verbal and written language
• Innovative and in touch with new formats / tools / creative approaches
• Excellent at writing for the social web and optimise for natural search
• Ability to develop great content and campaign ideas
• Ability to do basic designs / direct support designers
• Photography / video production skills a bonus
• Results orientated and ability to prove them through analytics
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,500.00-£35,000.00 per year depending on experience (or pro rata equivalent)
