Freelance Events Manager

Hey there ! 

Hope you're all having a good day, 

Eyes Green is a small inclusive and female-own company. We organise events supporting the up-and-coming creative scene. We've done film screenings, exhibitions, live music performances, DJ sets etc. We also have a podcast - which are conversations with young creatives to chat about their practice, creativity, inspiration, how to get your work seen etc. 

We are a small team of young people and we are looking for a freelance events manager to join us ! 

We currently have a residency at Colour Factory (Hackney Wick), where we will be organising our events. We will also expand to other venues in the near future. 

We are looking for a passionate individual that would like to grow Eyes Green with us. You will be in charge of finding artists for our events, get in touch and negotiate a price tat fits within the budget you will have.  You will also be in charge of making sure the event runs smoothly. That includes making sure the rider is ready for the artists, the set times are respected and everyone is happy.

We are looking for someone interested in all art forms but at the beginning, your job will mainly be looking for musicians/bands and DJs for evening events. 

About you : 

* you have a deep understanding of the current underground scene in London (especially music). You have a great network and are part of the creative scene. 

* you are passionate about events, go out a lot and want to have a place where you can show your favourite acts.

* you want to be part of a team of young creative, learn together and work towards building Eyes Green. 

Experience preferred but not required. This is a freelance position, we can't offer a part-time or full-time space for now. We are currently aiming of building a strong team together.
