Junior Artworker/Designer

We're looking for a creative artworker with a minimum of 2 years of industry experience. This is a full-time role and we are open to a designer with experience in wayfinding and branding projects.

Responsibilities

  • Signage, wayfinding, and branding
  • Help the creative team see projects through from start to completion by working on any or all of the following stages, as required: Strategy; Detailed design; Artwork/specification
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver the best design solution
  • Understand the expectations at each stage of the project in hand and work with any associated deadlines
  • Ensure that within the ‘production’ stages of the project the work is accurate and technically proficient
  • Creating InDesign signage production packages (includes sign location plans, artwork files and signage specifications).

Essential Skills and Experience

  • 2 years of industry experience
  • Degree in graphic design
  • You will understand the client’s brand and be able to interpret this into our design solutions ensuring it’s relevant and appropriate
  • Experience working on large and small-scale projects including the artwork stage in the following formats: EPS, PDF and Ai files
  • Experience working with design guidelines
  • Advanced skills in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop are essential, and working knowledge of other Adobe Creative Cloud applications and workflows would be advantageous.
