Job Title: Senior Copywriter

Day Rate: £250 - £300 p/d (depending on experience)

Contract Length: Part-Time/Freelance (2-3 days a week on long term contract)

Start Date: ASAP

As Senior Copywriter at LoveGunn you will be hands on, on all things creative from concept to delivery. You are the sort of person who enjoys challenging briefs and relishing the detail in creating beautiful, crafted and thoughtful copy with bulletproof strategy as its foundation.

You will work on a wide variety of projects in the team across varying deadlines which will demand adaptability, clear thinking & communication. LoveGunn works with a broad range of clients from large businesses to start ups, so you will need to be keen to enjoy the challenges and opportunities that come with this.

Key Experience and Responsibilities:

• A minimum of 2+ years experience working in branding and design agencies

• Experienced in defining Brand Tone of Voice

• Experienced in running Tone of Voice workshops

• Working with Creative Director to build and write brand strategies

• Copywriting for Brands including Campaigns, Websites, Brand Guidelines, Sales and Presentation Decks

• Internal Marketing including blogs, thought pieces, award entries

• Deciphering market research, trends and insights to help formulate and write strategies

• Strategically minded and show you are able to get under the skin of a brand and meaningful creative solutions

• Effectively transforming client requirements into strategic brand concepts and powerful copywriting that works across both print and online

• Challenge Briefs – ensure you challenge each part of a brief at the start. Ask questions and lead the creative direction yourself

• Be creative – make sure your initial thinking is as conceptual as possible. Always think outside the box and idea generate from the off. Think research and competitor analysis. Get conceptual idea signed off before design begins

• Be on time – once briefed, discuss timings with project manager and agree how long it will take

• Focus on collaboration. Volunteering ideas on existing client accounts and new business opportunities/pitches

• Be proactive with managing and promoting the external reputation of the agency as we look to grow our fame

• Focus on creating award winning work. At the start of the brief ask yourself how we can win an award from this

• Experience of managing and maintaining client accounts with a range of businesses, from large to small

• Industry experience in a similar role and have a proven track record of success

• Extreme attention to detail, be organised and able to hit deadlines without supervision

• A naturally confident and competitive personality with a passion to grow a start-up

• The ability to adapt to the LoveGunn ethos and be immersed in current trends

• A natural ability to articulate when communicating with clients and the team

• A passion for thinking outside the box and pushing boundaries
