The role

As a Senior Account Manager, you’ll lead larger projects, develop strategic client relationships, and mentor junior team members. You’ll identify business growth opportunities, balance creativity with commercial goals, and ensure smooth project delivery, contributing to both client and studio success.

Responsibilities

— Client Relationships: Take ownership of key client relationships, ensuring their needs are met while providing strategic insights to drive their business forward. You’ll manage communication and maintain strong relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for your clients.

— Managing Projects: Lead larger, more complex projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client expectations. Oversee all stages of project execution, working closely with the team to ensure high-quality results.

— Client Development: Identify and develop business opportunities within existing client accounts, working closely with the Account Director and Client Services Director to drive growth, and take the lead in developing proposals for new projects ensuring alignment with the client’s needs and objectives.

— New Business: Contribute to new business pitches by providing insights into client needs and helping to shape the studio’s approach.

— Team Mentorship: Support and mentor junior team members, helping them manage their accounts and projects effectively.

— Collaboration: Work closely with the creative, strategy, and production teams to ensure all aspects of a project align with the client’s vision. Facilitate smooth communication and collaboration, ensuring that the project remains on track.

— Financial Management: Oversee project budgets, taking responsibility for invoicing, forecasting, and ensuring that projects remain within financial scope. Work with the Account Director & CSD to review and manage profitability.

— Resource and Time Management: Collaborate with internal teams to allocate resources effectively, ensuring efficient project management and timely delivery. Prioritise projects and tasks, adjusting schedules as necessary to optimise project flow.

— Problem-Solving: Act as the primary problem solver for any project-related challenges, implementing solutions swiftly to keep projects on track, and seeking support when necessary.

— Studio Administration: Ensure smooth studio operations by assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks. Help manage schedules, track project documentation, and ensure that all processes and records are properly maintained.

— PR Support: Contribute to PR and marketing efforts by ensuring that client stories are communicated effectively and aligned with both the client’s and the studio’s goals.

Key requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in client management (essential that this is in a creative, branding, or design agency)

• Strong track record of managing multiple accounts and delivering successful projects.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

• High-level organisational and problem-solving abilities.

• Commercial awareness, including budget management and financial reporting.

• Deep understanding of creative processes and strategic branding principles.

• Experience mentoring and developing junior team members.

• A natural team player, willing to support across all areas of the business when needed.

Details

• 9:30 - 6pm working hours with 1 hour for lunch.

• Hybrid working arrangement: Mon - Wed in the studio, Thur - Fri optional work from home.

• Team lunch on the last Friday of every month.

• 20 days holiday, plus 1 extra day per year of service up to 5 years.

• Studio closure between Christmas and New Year, in addition to holiday allowance.
