Job Description

Trainhugger is a new green train ticketing platform. Every time a customer makes a booking through our website or mobile apps, we plant a tree in the UK through our partnership with the Royal Forestry Society. We offer the same ticket prices as the competition, but will plant millions of trees over the next 5 years.

The website is live (www.trainhugger.com) with a fast growing customer base and the apps launch mid September.

Our sister company, GreenTheUK, links local businesses with local wildlife projects. This includes planting a local tree for every house sold or let by a large estate agency chain, planting hundreds of acres of wildflower meadows for an electric car company and seagrass projects for a fashion house.

Overview

We are looking for a social creative/community manager with 3+ years of experience, a good knowledge of social media channels, a track record of building a following and an ability to plan, design, post and analyse content.

You will spend the majority of your time working on Trainhugger, driving awareness for the platform and developing content that will range from ticket focussed promotions, through to destination guides, wildlife content, relevant news and events and updates from the Trainhugger forests. You will also find like minded brands and partners to cross promote with.

For GreenTheUK, the content will range from wildlife project updates, through to relevant green business insights such as why customers and employees expect businesses to be more environmentally driven. Your focus will be B2B and showing how GTUK can help companies hit their sustainability goals.

Your Role

Develop content independently with input from the founders and project partners to post across social media channels.

Respond to customer comments and feedback.

Maintain a monthly content calendar, suitable for each business and social channel.

Work with our paid digital advertising manager to produce suitable adverts and content.

Gather insights and performance data from our own content and other social communities to share with the founders and shape future content plans.
