Job Description

How&How are looking for a PR / Marketing Manager to join our London team. You will be an organised, highly-motivated team player with a passion for marketing & growth, and help us conceive, plan and drive events as well as press & marketing campaigns for the agency.

You will be required to develop an achievable marketing plan for the agency and have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and social media (LinkedIn & Instagram specifically but potentially others). You will be responsible for communicating key messages and promoting the agency's work. As the PR / Marketing Manager, you will work with the team to ensure events, case studies, press releases, and social media campaigns are launched on time and budget. You will also be responsible for driving visibility of our agency in the US as well as Europe and around the world.

The PR / Marketing Manager will report to the Co-Founders and work alongside our design team. Together you will write, and deliver, creative PR campaigns for the studio.

Salary: £40,000—50,000 (DOE)

What we’re after:

  • At least 5+ years hands-on marketing / PR experience in agency or client side
  • BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline highly desirable
  • Proven working experience in PR / marketing or as part of a growth team is required
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing PR & social media campaigns
  • Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets
  • Highly creative with experience in devising social campaigns that engage, inform and motivate potential clients / employees
  • Efficient, goal-oriented, organised, and able to work under tight deadlines
  • Team player that’ll fit into our design-driven, collaborative team
  • Very strong interpersonal and communication skills (Fluent in English)
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Able to be articulate and assertive in presenting work

What you’ll do:

  • Developing a marketing communications plan to help agency growth—including strategy, managing production and rolling out across multiple channels (PR, Social, Paid Media)
  • Increasing the visibility of How&How across the sustainability and B2C sector
  • Driving PR coverage across the design press and beyond in existing / new publications
  • Developing good working relationships with the media and liaising with the press on potential news stories
  • Researching, organising, attending and running networking events in London and LA
  • Writing engaging articles for publications, website copy, social media content & editing press releases
  • Helping curate and run the agency marketing podcast with the Co-Founders
  • Social & paid media strategy development, management, planning and writing of posts
  • Managing the agency's CRM and marketing automation
  • Submitting relevant work to awards and managing the production of assets
  • Collaborating with the sales team to optimise the sales pipeline and early triage of pitches/briefs
  • Supporting talent team with recruitment of new talent—creating posts, articles etc
  • Monitoring publicity and press coverage
  • Monitoring the public and media's opinion of the agency
  • Maintaining a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them
  • Working closely with the design team to make creative suggestions for post-templates
