Summary

We are recruiting for a talented and technically strong Content Writer who is excited to work in a fast-paced environment as we scale up through a period of high growth.

The role will report to our Social Media and Marketing Manager and the candidate will be expected to assist in all areas of a rapidly growing marketing and design team.

We are a practitioner-led, CQC-regulated, online mind health provider, working with a community of expert practitioners to broaden access to the highest quality care for people across the UK.

We work in partnership with institutions such as the NHS, insurance companies and universities to deliver NICE-informed therapy, psychiatry, neurodevelopmental assessments and post diagnosis care for adults, children and young people.

We are continuing to grow our extensive network of practitioners - psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and counsellors that currently number in the several hundreds, and deliver care in over 30 languages.

ProblemShared is predominantly a remote business, and we have no central office. As a result, the team work from home (or other suitable locations), so you will need to be comfortable with this as a working environment and have a reliable internet connection. We also meet up from time to time as a team, so ability to travel.

ProblemShared Content Writer Job Description

We are expanding quickly and are looking for skilled professionals who can help us innovate in the rapidly growing field of telehealth. We are looking for a colleague who can lead on copywriting and content creation; anything from writing a press release, to crafting social posts or web copy, to supporting blog content creation or writing sales flyers and clinical guides all in order to support and shape the direction of the brand.

The role demands interaction with a range of people both internally and externally so being organised, managing timelines and having the ability to juggle multiple projects at different phases of their life cycle is key. You will be working with all teams in the business in order to shape our presence both internally and to elevate our digital presence, so a strong track record in developing digital content, copywriting, and a genuine interest in working within healthcare is a must.

We are looking for:

  • Excellent copywriting ability and communication skills
  • Experience working in healthcare is preferred
  • Proven experience of having worked in both a marketing and copywriting capacity for both B2B and B2C audiences
  • Experience at writing or editing content for web and mobile experiences, as a UX writer, information architect, content strategist or similar role
  • The ability to produce both long, and short form creative content
  • Someone who will work with the design team to ensure that the copy fits the needs of the project
  • Experience working with internal stakeholders to create impactful and meaningful campaigns/content
  • The ability to re-write and update information on websites and in company materials
  • Someone who can liaise with the clinical team to produce website blogs and clinical materials
  • The production of blog articles, from ideation stage, writing to copy editing and publishing
  • The ability to produce high-engagement social media content that reflects the brand voice
  • The creation of email marketing campaigns and newsletters for a variety of audiences
  • Experience working with Content Management Systems is desired but not essential
  • Ability to work with people at all levels across the business
  • A ‘hands-on’ approach, be prepared to roll-up your sleeves

Benefits:

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience, and eligibility for participation in the company equity scheme

Annual leave: 30 days (+ public holidays).
