This role entails…

The Social Producer plays a key role in identifying the latest trends and applying Woo’s positive, optimistic and inspirational tone to creating content that makes an impact.

You will be a creative individual full of ideas that capitalise on the latest trends and developments in social media with a strong understanding of youth culture, fashion, wellness, e-commerce or music. The Social Producer will be at the heart of a growing social team, using data-driven insights to create best in class content around Woo’s editorial, video and marketplace.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop content that impacts the cultural agenda and helps us redefine wellness for a generation
  • Pitch, develop and create social content that grows our audiences and engagement.
  • Create up to five pieces of content per day for Instagram, or two short form videos per day for TikTok.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to distribute our original video and editorial across social channels.
  • Work with in-house designers to create platform-specific clips and assets that drive conversations around editorial themes.
  • Write engaging copy that aligns with Woo’s tone of voice and brand values.
  • Lead on talent curation for Woo’s social content and input on talent discussions across the business, developing relationships with talent/press agencies.
  • Work with the Head of Social and Social Media Manager to help develop platform strategies that grow Woo’s audiences and engagement.
  • Use knowledge of social platforms and youth culture to lean into trends and future proof Woo’s social content.
  • Manage contracts, agreements, briefs, invoicing and external communications with freelancers and community members.

To be considered for this opportunity you will need to demonstrate the following skills:

Minimum role criteria:

  • Demonstrable experience creating social content at fashion, wellness, e-commerce, music news or youth culture publishers, brands or agencies.
  • Experience with Adobe CC including Photoshop and Premiere
  • A love of and genuine interest in wellness and youth culture
