Job Description

LO:TECH is a London-based fintech company helping token projects and financial platforms grow in a fairer, more transparent way. We build next-generation trading infrastructure, provide real-time data, and run a service that helps web3 projects manage their markets with transparency and control.

We’re also the team behind The Local, our in-house media and events brand, where we host a podcast, run community events, and explore the weirder side of decentralised finance and internet culture.

We’re now looking for a full-time Marketing Executive to join our team and help us grow across content, social, events, and paid campaigns. You’ll be working closely with the Marketing Director across a wide variety of projects, from writing reports and producing podcast clips to running ads and supporting our events at major conferences.

You don’t need to be a web3 expert. We care far more about curiosity, attention to detail, and good creative instincts. If you’re excited by fast-moving ideas, love making things people want to share, and are interested in working at the intersection of tech, culture and storytelling, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll do

Content and campaigns

  • Help produce written content, reports, and blog posts
  • Clip, edit and publish podcast episodes and short-form video content
  • Schedule posts and manage the content calendar across Twitter (X), LinkedIn, YouTube and more
  • Work on creative campaigns that promote our services and thought leadership

Social and paid media

  • Support the setup and management of paid social ad campaigns (mainly Twitter/X and LinkedIn)
  • Optimise copy and creative, run A/B tests, and track performance
  • Work alongside the BD team to ensure messaging is consistent and effective

Events and community

  • Help organise LO:TECH’s presence at industry events and conferences
  • Support our own meet-ups and side events through The Local
  • Capture and repurpose event content (social posts, video, photo, email)

Sales and brand support

  • Assist with sales enablement materials like pitch decks and one-pagers
  • Help keep our brand voice and visuals consistent across touch points
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of The Local as a creative media brand

What we’re looking for

  • 1–3 years’ experience in a marketing or content role
  • Strong writing and editing skills, especially for web and social
  • Comfortable with basic video editing tools (CapCut, Descript, Premiere or similar)
  • Experience managing or assisting with social media accounts and campaigns
  • Highly organised, with a proactive and collaborative attitude
  • A curious mindset and a willingness to dive into new topics, even the obscure ones

Bonus points if you have

  • Podcast editing or production experience
  • Experience with paid social ads (LinkedIn, Twitter/X)
  • Basic design skills using Figma or Adobe tools
  • Familiarity with tools like Hubspot, Notion, Buffer etc
  • Any exposure to fintech, startups, crypto or emerging tech, but not essential

What we offer

  • £40,000 annual salary
  • Full-time, in-office role at our studio space in Shoreditch, London (so must be eligible to work in the UK)
  • A supportive team culture focused on autonomy, learning and creativity
  • Mentorship and guidance from the Marketing Director across content, campaigns and brand building
  • The chance to grow into a wider marketing, content or creative role as we scale
  • Semi-regular global events, and space to experiment with ideas and formats
  • A unique opportunity to help shape the voice of a company doing things differently, and to build something people notice
