The Central Editorial Video Team collaborates with our diverse portfolio of brands to ideate, direct and produce best-in-class productions across all sites and social channels.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Production Manager runs pre-production operations across the Hearst network of brands to ensure all video shoots are arranged in a timely manner, coordinating all comms with talent, editorial, locations and all relevant stakeholders in the production process.

They lead shoots and productions, working with our editorial teams to elevate and amplify both print and digital content, ensuring the organisation, quality and consistency of original video. They also manage relationships with external suppliers, maintaining and developing a production network of talent, both behind and in front of the camera.

Running the process from ideation and shooting to editing and asset storage, this role is vital to ensure quality control across the output of all produced video to ensure content fits brand identity and standards at all stages.

ABOUT YOU

You will have a proven track record of producing high-quality cross-platform video content, allied with experience working with editors and post-production colleagues to ensure on set through to delivery is as smooth a process as possible.

You will be highly organised and cool under pressure, regularly dealing with fast-paced shoots, time constraints and multiple stakeholder management. You will have experience managing budgets, as well as hiring crew, scouting locations and booking talent.

You will have a passion for Hearst’s brands, a deep understanding of what video themes and formats work for what brands and on what platforms, and be a keen user of analytics to shape and inform video content strategy.
