The Glorify mobile app utilises bite-size readings, meditations, music and gamifications techniques to enable Christians to spend daily time with God through guided worship routines, curated content and a world-class user experience.
Backed by some of the leading Christian influencers globally, Glorify is targeting massive expansion and scale over the next 12 months. We have recently closed a large funding round and are now ready to expand the team in London, and internationally.
Job Description
We're looking for a passionate and driven Graphic Designer to join our team in London, supporting the marketing and content team in designing for marketing and content purposes.
About you
The ideal candidate will possess proven skills in creating paid advertising creatives, social media content, and assets for our mobile app, email marketing, website and brand and be comfortable with the fast pace and evolving needs of a tech startup.
You will be
Conceptualising and developing graphics based on design briefs and requirements
Creating graphics, illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
Working with the marketing team to create organic and paid content and creatives for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Google, App Stores and any social platforms
Creating graphics to complement the written content across various platforms
Developing design work and assets for email campaigns, website design and our mobile app including banners, thumbnails, illustrations and graphics
Creating assets to be utilised for motion design
Working with the marketing team to produce cohesive designs and graphics in line with brand goals
Ensuring all brand graphics and layouts are aesthetically appealing and adhere to our brand style & communications guidelines
Desired Skills and Experience
2+ years working experience in a marketing design-focused graphic design role
Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communications & Design, or any other related field. An equivalent of the same in working experience is also acceptable.
Strong typography skills
Animation skills preferable
Skills in illustration is a plus
Strong skills in Adobe Indesign, photoshop and illustrator. Good working knowledge of After Effects is also useful.
Confident and concise in presenting work
A love for visual storytelling and concepting
Creative thinker who can translate strategic and marketing needs into beautiful brand work
Expert eye for detail and pixel perfection
A positive attitude and a willingness to adapt in a fast moving business
Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
Work across departments to ensure design is on brand across the board
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Highly adaptable with the ability to learn quickly and come up with prompt design solutions for marketing campaigns and programs
Resourceful and able to work with limited supervision and able to use personal initiative
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Outstanding communication, and presentation skills
Even better:
Experience working for a high-growth start-up, consumer mobile application companies and/or consumer products with a freemium/subscription based business model
