Junior Producer/Production Manager – DoBeDo Represents (New York, NY)

DoBeDo Represents is looking for a full-time hands-on print and moving image junior producer/production manager, to work with their roster of international artists and global team while working alongside their Executive Producer in our New York office. Ability to efficiently multitask, maintain a positive attitude, and excellent communication skills are essential for this position. We are looking for a candidate that is imaginative and flexible with a strong work ethic, calm under pressure and always interested in finding creative solutions. Ideally, they would be excited to bring their own network of collaborators and contacts to the table.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support Production with vendor communications, crew options, building preliminary budgets and call sheets and final job closures/ billing
  • Compile briefs, treatments, timelines and deliverables for easy translation to artists and vendors
  • Coordinate travel and assist with on-set production as needed
  • Manage post-production schedules, vendors and final project delivery
  • Possess a working knowledge of industry standards, rules, regulations and best practices
  • Possess knowledge of both stills and motion crew and equipment terminologies
  • Ensure productions run to schedule to guarantee timely delivery and avoid overages
  • Assist Agents in project development and management

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2+ years production experience
  • Strong interest and drive to further their knowledge in the photography, art, and fashion industry
  • Excited about developing skills and expanding their role
  • Strong organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills, exceptional verbal communication & written skills
  • Proactive and reliable with a heartfelt and genuine interest is supporting artists
  • Excellent time management skills in order to prioritize tasks with a strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Excel, Hotbudgets, Showbiz, Adobe
  • Ideally possess an existing network of contacts within the industry
  • Able to multi-task and manage multiple projects at the same time while working under tight deadlines with limited resources
  • Able to adapt to changing and shifting requirements quickly
  • Comfortable working independently and to self-teach
  • Passion for trying new things, and ability to quickly provide alternative solutions/ideas
  • Additional foreign language skills a plus
