Junior Graphic Designer

Hæckels is looking for a Junior Graphic Designer. As a design-led brand it is crucial that everything produced is considered and well designed. We are growing our design team so that we are able to bring our wider vision to life. The Junior Graphic Designer’s role will focus on a variety of front-facing projects, such as packaging and digital image.

The brand represents a forward-thinking and progressive approach to the skincare and fragrance industry. We offer a sustainable and science-backed alternative in a world that is often mass-consumed and greenwashed. Exploring how biodesign, gut health, the microbiome and natural ingredients can all work symbiotically to offer the future of skincare and living, our products find synergy in nature and innovation. The brand seeks to disrupt through not only product but experiential and immersive retail and spa concepts, all while putting community at its core.

Role and Responsibilities

• Design for a broad range of projects, including packaging, social media, digital image and print.
• Creation of presentations to showcase work internally, as well as to other partners for approval.
• Working with the brand's Head of Design and Lead Graphic Designer who will outline brand strategy and individual briefs.
• Create outcomes based on the brand’s guidelines and chosen aesthetic.
• Working as part of a multidisciplinary design team. Although the main role will be graphics-based, there may be work on related projects within the design field.

Technical Skills

• Prior education or experience in the field is essential. This job application requires a portfolio.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite

The Position

Junior Graphic Designer

• London based, but some paid for travel required to Margate throughout the year
• Full-time
• 28 days holiday per year pro-rata
