About Alchemy:

We're a creative studio based in East London, looking to hire a midweight motion designer to join our team.

Since setting up four years ago we’ve worked on high profile documentaries, creating title sequences for shows such as Sunderland Til I Die and Bros: After the Screaming Stops and working on the Disney+ show 'The World According to Jeff Goldblum.

We also have regular supply of commercial work, creating content for brands such as Klekt, New Era and Foot Patrol.

We work across the whole spectrum of motion design, adapting our style depending on the requirements of the brief.

Job description:

We’re looking for a midweight motion designer to come in and join the team and play a key role across the business.

The applicant should have a minimum of 3 years experience.

This is a full time role and we need someone who can work out of our studio - no remote applications will be accepted unfortunately as we’re not currently set up for remote working - we can however discuss flexibility within this set up if required.

Salary dependent on experience - please let us know your salary expectations when applying.

Skills and requirements

Highly skilled in After Effects and the rest of the Adobe suite with working knowledge of Cinema4D

Able to take projects through from brief to final delivery, reacting and addressing to client feedback through the process and ensuring a high quality of end product.

Some experience of speaking directly with Clients, explaining concepts, addressing concerns/feedback and taking them through the creative

Well organised and able to track progress of their jobs and work with producers to ensure a smooth delivery of the elements they’re allocated for each project

Good communicator and able to be assist juniors with technical and creative issues that arise

Additional details:

20 days holiday with an additional day for each year of service up to 25 days

Studio closed between Christmas and New Year

Studio closes at lunchtime one day a month

Regular appraisals and development with objectives set to ensure development prioritised
