We’re looking for a Senior Social Media Manager to join the team at YRS TRULY 🫶

‍About the role:

We’re looking for a strategic and organised Senior Social Media Manager with 3+ years of marketing experience, ready to progress into a new role. You’ll lead our social and community team where you’ll take ownership of both social strategy and content creation and oversee the rest of the social team.

Experience in the games industry is not a must, but a passion for gaming is crucial.

Your responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering high-impact social and community campaigns
  • Creating content for different platforms, including videos, images, and more, ensuring you adhere to brand guidelines and tone of voice
  • Working on social media strategy for different clients and campaigns
  • Taking ownership of social campaigns and projects assigned to you
  • Managing the social and community team – you won’t immediately have direct reports but will oversee the work of a team of 2-3 people across socials
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Measuring impact and reporting on campaigns
  • Participating in external and internal meetings
  • Contributing to client pitches
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in content creation and social media management

What we’re looking for:

  • At least 3 years of relevant marketing experience in the creative industries (gaming, social media, marketing, advertising, PR)
  • Experience in growing communities on social media (especially Twitter and/or TikTok)
  • Experience in creating strategies and delivering social content and campaigns
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Proactive and able to take charge
  • Familiarity with the Adobe suite for creating images and editing footage for socials
  • Comfortable on camera and doing voiceovers
  • Ability to spot social trends
  • Willingness to experiment (and comfortable knowing sometimes it might flop)
  • Able to commute to our office in Hackney
  • A passion for gaming!

Location:

Flexible working, with at least one day in the office a week. Being able to commute to our office in London Fields, Hackney is a must. For the right candidate, we’re open to someone elsewhere in the UK, so long as they are able to occasionally visit the office.

Salary range:

£34,000 – £38,000, depending on experience. This will be reviewed after a six-month probation.

This is a full-time role. Our core hours are 9 am to 6 pm, with an hour-long lunch break. We work a four-day week from Monday to Thursday, but are on call on Fridays in case of any emergencies.
