ABOUT JOE

JOE is the UK’s leading media and entertainment brand for men, with a global audience of 13 million across all platforms. We’ve pioneered the way content and storytelling speaks to and represents our audience and we’ve been recognised with accolades and awards for our creativity and originality.

Awarded the Drum Content Creator of the year and DigiDays’ publisher of the year, we’re proud to be free-thinking, flag-flying unorthodox storytellers for the modern man. Our content influences, informs and inspires men from every corner of the UK, and knits them together in a community of empowerment and inclusivity.

From current affairs to sports, we have access to some of the biggest names, as well as partnering with many of the world’s leading brands (Coca-Cola, Adidas, FA and the BBC, to name a few).

WE’RE HIRING

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Account Manager to join our fast growing client services team. You'll be working alongside all the teams at JOE, from editorial and production to planning and sales in order to seamlessly deliver best in class JOE partnership campaigns for some of the biggest brands in the world.

REQUIREMENTS:

3 years’ + relevant experience in project management within media (publisher, media agency, creative or client side).

THE ROLE:

Day to day management of commercial campaigns, liaising with all relevant internal teams as well as clients to co-ordinate all aspects of each campaign and ensure that campaigns are delivered within contracted time frames and within agreed budgets.

Ensuring the successful delivery of all content, monitoring the performance of all content through pulling audience insights from a variety of analytics platforms.

Reporting – weekly reporting and creating post campaign reports with learnings for both the client and JOE.

Cost management/invoicing – To ensure campaigns are kept within budget, creating and updating P&L sheets and ensuring invoices are processed on time.

Timeline generation – Creating timelines, refining timelines.

Use the editorial CMS system to upload content onto the website, when required.

Supporting the client services team as a whole, taking on tasks and projects as necessary for the team to deliver on their objectives.

Being a part of the team at JOE also means going outside of your day to day role, often getting involved with a variety of other brand campaigns and editorial initiatives.

KEY SKILLS:

Strong time management and organisational skills.

Excellent communication skills.

Attention to detail.

Ability to problem solve.

KEY ATTRIBUTES:

Enthusiasm with positive, can do attitude: This is the first thing we look for. We want passionate people who love the JOE brand and have the desire to be part of a fast paced, cutting edge business and keen to learn.

Flexibility: you will often be required to step out of your day to day role and participate in different areas of the business, and we’re always working on multiple projects at one time. This requires the ability to prioritise workload and be willing and able to change focus from one project to the next quickly.

Interest in digital and social media and how it works.

Problem solving: JOE is known for being the first to try new things, and working out exactly how we achieve this is an important element.

Proactive: Ability to use your own initiative on all projects, and taking direction from others at times.

Team player: We are a very close, supportive and collaborative team and you will be comfortable building strong and trusting relationships quickly.
