We’re looking for a copywriter who’d rather be called a creative. A storyteller who thinks about the lighting under which an actor will deliver their script. An advertising afficionado who gets just as much joy out of musing over concepts and discussing social strategy, as they do from crafting show-stopping headlines.

This is what it takes to be a creator of integrated marketing campaigns at Blackbridge. Copywriters who consider what message a client’s brand is sending when we build an out-of-home experiential installation. Remember, you’re much more than the resident grammar junkie. You do have to be a worthy wordsmith

Writer. Poet. Scribe. It isn’t enough to provide us with the words; you have to understand the difference between them. And there is a difference. Particularly when you, as a purveyor of copy, must be all three. Gauging the reaction to your posts on social. Writing emotion into animation. Interviewing people so you can expose fresh insights.

You should write with the impetus of a composer conducting their own symphony. With that rhythm you get into when you are your own favourite author, unwilling to take a break because you know you’re onto something award-winning. Relishing every flourish of the hand, as you exaggerate your strokes across the keyboard, before smugly punching a full-stop on the end of a film script that’s simply sublime. Period.
