Photographic Agent

Job Type: Full-time (hybrid working WFH 2 days a week)

At SOHO Management, we’re passionate about creativity and visual storytelling. We specialise in producing stunning visual content for a diverse range of clients. We’re excited to welcome a new Photographic Agent to our team to help represent and promote our talented photographers.

Job Summary:

We’re looking for a friendly and driven Photographic Agent to join our small team. In this role, you’ll be the key point of contact for our photographers, helping to manage their careers and find exciting job opportunities for them. You’ll work closely with clients, negotiate contracts, and ensure our photographers shine in every project they undertake.

Key Responsibilities:

- Talent Representation: Be a support for our photographers, understanding their unique strengths and career goals to promote their work effectively.

- Client Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including advertising agencies, brands, publishers.

- Business Development: Seek out new business opportunities for our photographers, securing commissions and projects that match their style and expertise.

- Contract Negotiation: Handle the negotiation of contracts and production budgets.

- Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement creative marketing strategies to boost the visibility of our photographers through social media, portfolio reviews, and industry events.

- Production: Manage the logistics of a shoot when required (please note this is primarily an agent role with some additional production)

- Trend Analysis: Keep up-to-date with industry trends and emerging opportunities to ensure our photographers stay ahead of the curve.

- New Talent Acquisition: Identify and recruit fresh talent to join our roster of photographers, expanding our creative offerings and keeping our agency dynamic.

ABOUT YOU:

- At least 3 years of experience in an agent role, ideally photography.

Skills:

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

- Good knowledge of the photography industry and current trends. - Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
