The Studio
Our client is a Gen-Z multimedia and cross platform entertainment company. They produce and publish content daily, at the speed of social media. This covers the latest news and trends from Gen-Z’s perspective on fashion, sneakers, beauty, art, music, and youth culture. They have a mass following of over 1.8million users. Their offices are based in East London, they offer 4 days working in their offices and 1 day WFH each week.
The Role
They are looking for a skilled and talented Brand Partnerships Director to join their dynamic team on a full-time basis. This is a new role for the company and you will be managing a team of 5 x Brand Partnership Executives. You must come from a media agency/brand partnership sales background and have experience working with clients in the worlds of fashion and luxury lifestyle. The client offers a competitive salary + commission scheme.
Responsibilities will include:
• Establish and manage relationships across major brand partners to create meaningful, impactful and original activations.
• Develop and manage internal asset and budgeting documents that give a real time view of partnership status.
• Negotiate efficient partnership agreements leveraging knowledge of industry standards and the client’s brand to drive discussions.
• Communicate partner needs and collaborate with cross-functionally to ensure programs are developed and delivered on time and in budget.
• Identify and build plans against current and upcoming trends within the fashion, music and lifestyle industry that can be leveraged in partner activations.
• Develop and implement best practices for client interaction, sales, and services.
• Ensure that company targets are met by holding regular check-ins with team to set objectives and monitor progress.
• Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
• Create persuasive sales presentations using market trends and case studies.
• Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
The candidate
You will have:
• Proven experience in agency brand partnership sales and strong awareness of the worlds of fashion, luxury lifestyle, streetwear, and their trends.
• Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closing.
• A thorough understanding of all current social media platforms, especially of interest to Gen-Z such as TikTok.
• Experience managing individuals and solving issues in a positive manner.
