Job Description

About Irvine Partners

Irvine Partners is a global communications agency with a creative edge, delivering standout work for brands across EMEA. From Spotify to Google, Uber to Airbnb, our campaigns live at the intersection of culture, commerce, and communications. We’re now expanding our UK footprint and are looking for a dynamic Mid-Level Creative Strategist to help us push boundaries and build bold, insight-led work that drives real impact.

About the role

We’re looking for a culturally plugged-in, conceptually strong Creative Strategist who’s equal parts thinker and doer. Someone who can connect brand, digital, and earned strategies to big-picture ideas and help bring them to life across channels.

You’ll work closely with our creative, digital, and comms teams to develop and articulate campaign strategies, shape creative concepts, and contribute to the pitch process. From FMCG to fintech, tourism to tech, you’ll help brands speak with relevance and resonance.

Key responsibilities

Lead strategic thinking on multi-channel campaigns: from initial insight to execution

Conduct market research and cultural trend mapping to inform creative decisions

Translate complex brand or business challenges into simple, effective strategies

Write concise and compelling creative briefs to inspire internal teams

Collaborate with creative teams to ideate and refine campaign concepts

Play a key role in new business pitches, including insight development and presentation

Work across a range of sectors, quickly adapting to new industries and audiences

Champion a consumer-first mindset and ensure strategic consistency across touchpoints

The ideal candidate has:

A degree in creative media production or similar

3–5 years of experience in a creative strategy or brand planning role, ideally within an agency environment

Proven ability to develop campaign strategies grounded in insight and culture

Strong understanding of social, digital, and earned media ecosystems

Exceptional communication and storytelling skills: verbal, written, and visual.

Highly collaborative with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude

Curious, articulate, and culturally attuned

Experience working on integrated campaigns across sectors is a bonus

Technically, we’re looking for someone who can:

Proficient in Canva for rapid concepting and visual storytelling

Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop

Comfortable creating mood boards, mockups, and visual decks

Able to build polished presentations (Canva, Google Slides, PowerPoint, Keynote)

Familiar with social media content formats and digital-first design principles

Basic understanding of motion/animation tools (e.g. Adobe After Effects or Canva animations) is a plus

Confident working across Mac and PC environments

Organised with file management and version control for design assets

Why work with us

You’ll be part of a tight-knit, globally minded team where ideas matter and initiative is valued. This is a rare opportunity to grow with an agency on the rise, influence work that makes a difference, and help shape the creative future of our UK office.
