Tomorrow Bureau is a Creative Direction & CGI studio working with brands spanning the cosmetic, luxury, automotive and technological industries.

We need further assistance with the day-to-day of our growing studio. And you will play an important role in maintaining and ensuring that all team members have what they need and work in the best environment possible.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Studio Manager/production assistant to join our team.

We are a small studio looking for someone with a positive attitude and bright personality to work with our creative directors and designers.

Your role will also be varied: overseeing workflow and dealing with client queries alongside our producer. We also expect you to keep the studio running smoothly, ensuring the design team has everything they need. You will be using Google Suite, Slack and Xero, so some experience with these tools would be ideal.

Ideally, you have experience working within the creative industry and a strong interest in culture and design. Knowledge of production processes is also to your advantage. This role has the potential to evolve into a project manager role over time.

Hybrid working - in the studio three days per week.

THE ROLE (we are open to part-time or full time)

You must have previous experience working as a studio manager in a creative studio.

Ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the studio, being responsible for the functionality of the office and implementing new systems and procedures

When required, support for both directors & producer.

Responsible for organising all team trips, outings and parties

Responsible for organising and booking all travel and accommodation for the team

Studio:

  • Basic Maintenance and organisation
  • Helping keep the office space tidy
  • Ordering studio supplies,
  • Arranging deliveries, couriers etc.
  • Organising/having an overview of the diary, meetings and travel
  • Organising freelancers
  • Doing the weekly food shop
  • Keeping track of people's birthdays (as the team grows)
  • Company renewals, membership subscriptions, ordering office supplies/equipment,
  • HR administration involving staff development, appraisal arrangements, office events, visa sponsorship, maintaining office policies, inductions for new staff and managing all personnel records confidentially and professionally. Tracking holidays, sickness and overtime
  • (including on and off-boarding of employees, payroll management, contracts, and benefits, and supporting recruitment.)
  • Manage job applications
  • Replying to emails and enquiries alongside the producer.

Production Assistance:

Working alongside our producer to ensure the smooth running of projects, payments and schedules.

Finance administration:

Reconciling all accounts, invoice payments, maintaining client payments and expense records, employee expenses, managing all stages of sales invoicing, payroll and liaison with the company accountants regarding VAT returns and pensions

*Must have experience using XERO
