Born for the digital entertainment era and made up of over 300 digital experts across UK, US, Europe and APAC, we partner with some of the world’s most recognised TV, sports and consumer brands, including Netflix, The FA, Viacom, BrewDog, Sony, Formula E, Channel 4, Farfetch and Red Bull, producing original and branded content for more than 500 digital channels globally and delivering 6 billion views per month.

We also run our own digital broadcast network of more than thirty channels across social platforms and OTT video-on-demand services; licensing over 15,000 hours of hand-picked long-form content and watched by over 400 million viewers in 2020.

THE ROLE

Content Editors need to be able to edit video content, including motion graphics, create relevant and effective metadata, including grammatically correct copy/subtitles, and be able to produce quality thumbnails and imagery in Photoshop. The role requires uploading content to the relevant social media platforms & application of the created metadata & thumbnails. This role also involves management of the materials/deliveries from clients, may include direct client communication, and reviewing platform data and analytics to infer learnings.

Salary: Based on experience

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Helping to build and maintain social channels/pages, including:

Designing brand assets, including any necessary motion graphics

Creating clips and editing compilations

Uploading video assets

Optimising metadata

A strong grasp of graphics design and motion graphics for the creation of platform content templates and promos

Writing copy for platforms, understanding the importance of editorial voice and tone

Subtitling content, where necessary

Creating and designing engaging thumbnails and imagery

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THE ROLE

Excellent knowledge of social media platforms (notably YouTube, Facebook and Instagram), specifically their use of video and the differences between the platforms

Excellent knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and After Effects

Impeccable spelling and grammar – this is a must

Excellent knowledge of different videos formats, video compression, sound/video synchronisation

Proven experience/ability and genuine enthusiasm for video editing, motion graphics and graphic design

Ability to work under pressure managing multiple tasks, and an interest in taking on real responsibility within a rapidly growing and dynamic company

Willing to work outside of typical 0930 - 1800 hours when needed, due to the nature of the job and the projects being undertaken

Great communication skills, with a positive attitude

Awareness of current social trends

Understanding of platform data and analytics with an interest in interpreting learnings is a plus

Interest in brands, brand related content and marketing is a plus
