Job Description

We are looking for an exceptional digital designer with strong graphic & motion skills. You’ll be working on all stages of a project, from concepts, branding and storyboarding, through to animation and motion design.

At Substance you will have the chance to express your creativity and grow as a designer. You’ll be working with a bunch of lovely folk who are passionate about film and design. We have a wide variety of clients from film, to pharmaceutical to video gaming and an array of projects, from corporate branding to music social spots.

What we are looking for - our ideal candidate...

  • has approx. 3 years experience producing professional grade marketing content for a range of clients / industries
  • is adept across the Adobe suite, in particular Photoshop, After Effects and Illustrator, with Premiere and 3D a bonus
  • is a self-motivated and likes to try out new things
  • is passionate about design, has an interest in the design community and is always seeking inspiration
  • is a creative thinker, excellent at idea generation and visualisation
  • collaborates well and is always open to feedback
  • has a passion for and understanding of typography
  • has experience in and a passion for social media marketing
  • has enthusiasm for social media and has knowledge of social creative formats within Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Tik Tok etc.
  • is ambitious, hard-working and has great communication and organisation skills

The ideal portfolio will show real passion for design, including:

  • Creative ideas well executed
  • Strong typography skills
  • Storyboarding
  • Motion skills
