Lateral is a dynamic Real Estate Investment Manager founded in early 2020 by three commercially astute entrepreneurs to defy convention and reject the generic strategies employed by many. We deliver inventive, purposeful, and sustainably designed commercial property that drives value and social impact for investor and occupier alike.

We are expanding our portfolio at pace, whilst preparing to launch Ampers&, a pioneering cloud-based web solution to future-proof office investment and respond to environmental requirements, technological advances, and dynamic ways of working.

Overview

We are looking for someone to take on the hybrid role of Executive Assistant for the founders and Social Media / PR coordinator for Lateral.

Your primary focus will be to support the founders and free up their time to allow them to do what they do best by organising their schedules, deadlines, and meetings.

The twist is that we require you to drive the development and implementation of Lateral’s social media strategy and to coordinate PR with our existing key industry contacts. This creative aspect to the role will require you to work with our Head of Design and external freelance writers and designers.

Ideal Candidate

• EA experience crucial

• Social media saavy preferably with experience in social media strategy

• Can prioritise their workload to meet fast deadlines

• Is comfortable working under pressure at busy times and across different tasks at once

• As a key member of the office an enthusiastic, positive attitude and being a strong communicator is essential

Tasks

Executive Assistant Job Duties:

• Organise and schedule meetings

• Prepare meeting agendas, perform research for meetings, and take minutes during meetings

• Organise social events internal and external

• Perform reception duties

• Liaise with clients and guests

• Liaise with other members on behalf of founders

• Handle payroll, HR, and recruitment duties, including on-boarding new staff members and training new employees where necessary

Social Media duties:

• Create and implement Lateral’s social media strategy in collaboration with one of the founders to grow our audience.

• Develop creative social media campaigns e.g. sustainability, upcoming developments, thought leadership, new hires etc.

• Collaborate with freelance writers and designers to support content creation.

• Ensure content is scheduled to optimise engagement.

• Create innovative ways to showcase projects and founders on our social media channels.

• Coordinating PR.

Details

• Salary: £32,500

• Reporting into: Founders

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am — 5:30pm (flexible hours between 8am – 7pm)

• Location: 28 Fitzroy Square, London W1.

• Permanent

• This role is based within the office with flexibility to work from home one day per week
