The role

We are growing our consulting team and need a Senior Account Manager to ensure the smooth running of prospect outreach (sales) and client projects (coverage/production).

You will manage internal operations to guarantee projects are completed to a high standard in a timely manner, be a driving force in cost estimation, idea generation, creative briefings, account success monitoring, in addition to growing existing client relationships and bringing your expertise to the pitch process for prospects.

We are a small, growing team with a varied and interesting workload, which makes this the perfect position for someone looking to advance their career in the media, consulting and insights industries.

Key responsibilities

  • Establish roles, quarterly KPIs and budgeting for overall team and individual members
  • Manage prospect outreach planning, monitoring and execution and take lead in prospect pitches both written and verbal
  • Establish requirements of prospect meeting follow-ups and ensure timely, professional level delivery of content
  • Brief team and effectively delegate specific tasks to account executives, writers, production team and third-party specialists based on brief requirements
  • Manage and co-ordinate overall creative and project oversite, obtaining and implementing regular feedback from team and clients
  • Ensure team remains motivated and delivers work efficiently throughout the lifecycle of each project
  • Write, edit and proofread high-quality communications materials including social posts, briefing documents, pitch letters and client correspondence, suggesting press releases when appropriate
  • Leverage existing stakeholder relationships and cultivate new contacts within the industry
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and social platforms, and demonstrate an understanding of how they can be integrated into internal and external communications
  • Represent Thred Media at conferences, networking opportunities, press outreach and other events
  • Support line manager with client’s PO, contract, and internal financial process
  • Be an active manager for our account executives, helping them in their work, developing their skills, ensuring wellbeing, monitoring performance and contributing to the review process


  • Experience as a Senior Account Manager in a relevant industry, or at the very least, extremely solid experience as an Account Manager and prepped to take the next step
  • Ability to manage largescale creative and insights projects with a range of clients across various sectors
  • Professional writing skills and very strong presentation capabilities
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a strong desire to have a role in leading our company’s growth
  • Detail-oriented, organized and dedicated; proactive and enthusiastic with an ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Business-minded with exceptional industry knowledge
  • Energetic manager with an interest in mentoring other team members
  • High degree of interest in Gen Z as a consumer group as well as current social and environmental change movements

Preferred technology familiarity

  • CRM system similar to SalesForce or HubSpot
  • Full Microsoft office suite, Google share drive, Canva, Notion
  • Social media filming, basic in app editing and posting- Instagram, TikTok, Twitter
  • Others include LinkedIn, Discord, and Reddit
  • Adobe creative suite or equivalent
  • Comfortable in front of the camera


  • Permanent, full-time
  • 10.00 – 18:30 with an hour for lunch, Monday – Friday
  • Working from home Monday and Friday, working from our central London office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
