THE ROLE:

We are looking for a creative, yet data-driven social media professional to help support our direct-to-consumer strategy. The right candidate will be integral in developing our social media strategy and managing all channels to drive reach, traffic and online sales.

The role will focus on developing and managing our marketing and social media channels, introducing an in-house paid media strategy and analysing our existing data; making informed marketing and business decisions to support fast growth. A part-time freelance role based at our bright studio in East London, you will be an important part of our growing team with the opportunity for increased days moving forward. The role will also involve attending our monthly content shoots with our Marketing Manager to capture and publish social media content. You will be the business go-to for developing social media campaigns and tracking their performance. We are looking for someone with ideas and a strong desire for success, who wants to be at the forefront of delivering an innovative social media strategy for one of the UK’s most exciting candle brands.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITES:

Work with Marketing Manager on the management of the monthly content and social media calendar

Plan and publish social content for all channels – Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest with support from Marketing Assistant

Develop digital activations for follower engagement, retention, paid media and tactical campaigns

Plan and manage paid media strategy – manage budget and report on ROI

Brief in design agency on all assets needed for social

Identify partners and manage social competitions during launches and key dates with support from Marketing Assistant

Identify influencers on Instagram suitable for gifting and liaise with PR agency

Deliver reports to broader internal team on the performance of campaigns

Experience working with Mailchimp beneficial – strategy to drive growth, segmentation and CRM

Set-up affiliate marketing programme for our monthly Founder’s Note email featuring product round-ups

Identify opportunities for brand exposure and drive online visibility to achieve sales and brand goals

ABOUT YOU:

3+ years’ experience in a relevant social media and content role

Experience creating content and video assets for social media preferable – Photoshop/InDesign proficient

Extensive experience working on paid social media campaigns

Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making

A self-starter who is comfortable setting up ways of working

A great communicator with an entrepreneurial spirit

A keen interest within the interior and/or beauty industries
