The Role:

We are looking for someone to join us as new business development. The ideal candidate would have at least 5 year + working in new business roles, built up strong contacts through the years, bring fresh ideas, be proactive and want to drive MOX forward in our growth ambitions. This is a super important role to us as we have big ambitions to continue to grow the agency and also keep building great relationships within the industry.

The New Business Director responsibilities include:

  • Help define the agency's new business strategy and build up the brand amongst the industry.
  • Support the refinement and roll-out of the agency's new business development process.
  • Effectively manage any stage of the new business process, I.E RFP response and pitch execution; support lead generation and related activities.
  • Represent the agency as the first point of contact for prospective clients; understanding their needs and objectives and presenting this to the leadership team.
  • Have solid previous client relationships and contacts within the industry.
  • Have a great understanding of the creative process
  • Ensure that all work and contact with potential clients reflects the culture and mission of the agency.
  • Identify opportunities and events for MOX to attend in order to help us grow.
  • Bring new ideas in terms of pushing the brand of the agency and new market opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Has a proven track record in delivering new business wins
  • 5+ year’s experience in an agency Business Development role preferred or client side role.
  • Solid writing and communication skills. Writing up RFPs may be needed.
  • Great lead generation experience
  • Is a clear and engaging presenter/communicator
  • Proactive with a great energy for the creative process.
  • Great relationship skills
