Junior Motion Designer

We’re looking for a Junior Motion Designer to join Vevo as part of the Design team in Europe who will be responsible for ideation, development and creation of both static and motion assets to support Vevo’s content and social initiatives. Fantastic editing and post-production skills are required, along with a desire to develop and test new concepts. The ability to create high-quality video and motion graphics content that delivers strong aesthetics and a clear message is also essential. This new role will be a key part of the design team with lots of room for making your mark and bringing your ideas and initiative to the table.

Responsibilities

• Creating and editing dynamic animations and motion graphics, audio and video content
• Creating rough and final cuts, inputting music, dialogues, graphics and effects
• Static design creation
• Preparing concepts, storyboards and prototypes
• Taking ownership of projects assigned, ensure they meet agreed deadlines by Design Lead
• Collaborate closely with Design Lead and Junior Designer
• Build strong relationships within the wider content team through regular and clear communication and a collaborative approach to work

Experience/Skills required

• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects and Premiere, as well as experience in Photoshop & Illustrator
• Video editing experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Passion for Design and Typography
• High level of self-motivation, team spirit and positive can-do attitude
• A love for music
• Able to work across multiple projects simultaneously
• Eager to work on a variety of projects, from partial input or repetitive tasks to undertaking projects from start to finish
• Possess principles that are aligned with our company culture and be an advocate for Vevo values

Bonus

• Basic knowledge of Cinema 4D
• A degree or higher in Design/Animation
