Job Description

Overview

Breaks is a small and agile independent creative studio that creates cultural advantage for brands. Amongst others, we work with Nike, Dr Martens, New Balance, Converse & Levi’s.

Breaks is a small team, working out of a studio in East London, but we’re growing fast and are looking for motivated self-starters with a keen interest in sportswear, fashion and retail to join our team. We’re small and, where necessary, everyone chips in to get the task over the line.

Role

Breaks is looking for an organised and motivated creative individual with substantial experience producing fashion film, branded content, stills shoots and experience of managing large budgets with an ability to identify potential overspend and a bursting black book of camera teams and photographers.

Excellent organisation, communication skills and a positive can-do attitude are essential. Likewise, the fast-paced nature of the agency requires the ability to multi-task, manage expectations and work well alongside the rest of the team. In return, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of ground-breaking projects, developing your skills alongside a dynamic and friendly team at the forefront of the industry. The role reports directly to the Senior Producer and will be across all of our clients and agency output.

Key skills & experience

  • Reliable, adaptable and a true doer. You make things happen and you know your projects and clients inside out
  • 3+ years of production experience working in a creative/advertising agency - Ideally with specific experience of producing AV content
  • Have existing relationships with a wide range of suppliers and understand relationship structure between production houses and creative agencies, as well as freelancers and creative agencies
  • Good existing network of production support; e.g runners, production assistants, 1st ADs, production managers.
  • Experience and confidence in client comms
  • Experience and confidence in writing production (pre and post) timelines and schedules
  • Able to work autonomously and experience in juggling multiple projects at multiple stages at once, all at various budget sizes
  • Fluent in Mac / Excel / Google Docs; knowledge of Figma desired but not essential
  • Willingness & ability to travel nationally and internationally

Roles & responsibilities

  • Day to day account management of all shoots, pre and post production, across the whole agency
  • Developing and scheduling a wide range of shoots, both in the UK and internationally from initial creative and concept to post production and delivery
  • Quoting on jobs, as well as negotiating and maintaining budgets per project
  • Continuous client communication and all necessary organisation and administration
  • Act as a linchpin between all people involved, anticipating their needs and managing stakeholders with good interpersonal skills
  • On set production
  • Sourcing and booking freelance assistants, shoot teams, directors and editors, as well as managing contracts for staff/crew needed for shoots and production jobs
  • Organising transport and logistics for jobs
  • Developing post production schedules with project manager
  • Leading on management of post production workflow with project manager
  • Liaising with management to ensure all jobs are invoiced correctly with job numbers, PO’s and details
  • Maintain and grow network of freelancers and contractors
