Marketing & Communications Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and creative Marketing & Communications Assistant to join our team ASAP.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to work at the heart of a thriving cultural space, supporting live events, brand-building, curation and audience engagement.
The role offers hands-on experience across marketing, communications, and event promotion, with a focus on growing Ladbroke Hall’s presence both online and offline through relevant social content mainly.
Key Responsibilities
• Content Creation & Social Media management
o Assist in creating compelling photo and video content for Ladbroke Hall and Pollini social channels.
o Manage day-to-day scheduling and posting on social platforms to grow engagement and followers.
o Write engaging copy for newsletters, event promotions, and social media.
• Event Promotion
o Collaborate with the team to promote live events and programmes, ensuring they align with our brand values.
o Work closely with artists and event partners to gather promotional materials and provide liaison support.
o Support the setup and maintenance of event pages on the Ladbroke Hall website.
• Brand & Communications
o Assist with the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns to strengthen the Ladbroke Hall brand.
o Contribute to the curation of Ladbroke Hall’s own events (150+ per year) with artists and creatives across all kinds of performance types.
o Support key relationships with PR agency and other stakeholders.
o Contribute ideas to newsletters and audience engagement strategies.
o Ensure consistent tone and messaging across all communications.
• Operations & Support
o Update and maintain CRM and tech stack to track marketing activity and audience engagement.
o Conduct research to inform marketing strategies and identify new opportunities.
o Support the booking journey, ensuring a seamless experience for our audiences.
o Provide general social media and marketing support as needed.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a proactive and creative individual who is passionate about the arts, culture, and live events. You’ll be an excellent communicator, digitally savvy, and eager to contribute to a growing brand.
Skills and Experience
• Strong writing skills with a flair for crafting engaging, on-brand content.
• A good understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) and trends.
• Familiarity with photo and video editing tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Suite) is a plus.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines..
• A degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Experience working with websites or CMS platforms is desirable but not essential.
