Senior Account Manager x Senior Project Manager hybrid
Independent and innovative branding and design studio, Bolter, are looking for a client services project manager hybrid role to join their growing team. Their clients range from food producers to beauty brands, travel and tourism to corporates - covering global well known brands to unique local companies. They are looking for a dynamic individual who is driven by making a big difference in a small team and enjoys working in a highly creative and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the studio’s projects, working closely with the two founders to streamline operations, lead client workstreams and help identify new opportunities. A positive and proactive 'yes’ person with brilliant problem-solving skills and a keen interest in design and branding is key.
The role includes but is not limited to:
- Becoming the key point of contact for creatives and clients including leading client meetings
- End-to-end client handling, from project planning to budget management and everything in between
- Working with the founders to understand the client's business and objectives and collaborating with them to achieve their project goals
- Inspiring teams by creating interesting, strategically-concise briefs and managing internal project distribution and organisation
- Reviewing output before sending to the client to ensure it meets the creative and strategic requirements
- Developing a deep understanding of client brand guidelines, becoming a guardian of high-quality work.
- Developing and managing relationships with production teams including printers and suppliers
- Reaching out to suppliers and co-creatives for samples and getting savvy with the strengths and weaknesses of different suppliers or producers - to be in a position to propose solutions to either the client, creatives or both
- Structuring the studio’s growth by proactively contributing ideas and better practices and processes
- Representing the studio to potential clients or partners and attracting new business
- Working with the founders to build on the studio’s success to advance their interests
Experience Requirements
- 4 years+ agency relevant experience; within a small-to-mid-sized design agency
- Production management - print, packaging and some experience of digital
- Fluency in English and excellent communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in project management software
Preferred
- Experience using the Adobe Suite
- Experience with a similar organisation
- An interest in, or some exposure to food and drink branding and brand strategy
