About the role

We’re looking for an Account Manager with 3+ years of agency experience to join our growing team. You'll be integral to the day-to-day operation of the business as well as leading client accounts and building positive client-agency relationships.

You’ll be working closely with the Creative and Product teams, using tools to manage coordination, planning and communication with efficiency. As the direct point of contact for our clients you will be responsible for managing the relationship with each client directly, building trust; and ensuring smooth delivery, profitability and growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing client relationships
  • Building strong client relationships with businesses from a wide range of industries
  • Entertaining clients at events, lunches, dinners and a variety of different social occasions
  • Nurturing and growing the relationship with the client, so you will need to be curious and passionate about their business, identifying ways where Poppins can help them achieve their goals. You will also prepare the client brief aligning the team with the client, so being business-minded is key.
  • Drafting of client contracts
  • Highly client focused. Your key goal across each account is to ensure the client remains happy through the process
  • Driving repeat business from our current clients
  • Providing a high level of proactivity, always thinking of the client and being on the front foot
  • As the key contact between the team and client you will identify potential issues or problems, solving them ahead of time to keep the project on time and on budget
  • Efficiently managing priorities across different departments
  • Pipeline reporting from repeat business
  • Managing activities and upselling opportunities through Salesforce

Requirements include:

  • 3+ years of account management experience in a digital and or creative agency
  • Highly skilled at managing client relationships; from a range of different businesses and backgrounds
  • Open-minded, smart and a logical thinker
  • Approachable, adaptable, and comfortable working with high-profile clients
  • Considered and calm under pressure
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects to tight timescales
  • A team player with an enthusiasm to build and maintain lasting relationships
  • Ability to formulate and implement processes to drive efficiencies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences
  • With excellent attention to detail, you're a perfectionist. You lead by example and provide quality control
  • Highly driven with a dedication to client satisfaction
  • Focused on driving account growth and increasing revenue
  • You have a general understanding of brand and digital
  • Highly organised with strong budgeting, planning and time-management skills
