Job Description
Our first site in London’s Bermondsey is made up of 28 private studios and initially took residents in who were looking to stay for three months or more. In 2023, we introduced short stays, allowing people to book for as little as three nights in six of our ‘short stay’ studios. This was a proof of concept for our flexible living model and in April 2024 we launched our second building in Primrose Hill as a boutique guesthouse, with 61 studios available to stay for a night or a lifetime. With more new sites on the horizon, the team is expanding to meet the needs of our exciting and growing business.
We are now looking for a talented and passionate Junior Graphic Designer to join our team to support our Senior Brand Manager and Brand Director in developing and delivering all brand design outputs, across print, digital and social channels.

About the role:
This role is ideal for someone with a year or two of professional design experience who can conceptualise, design and deliver engaging content across digital and print with an understanding of the importance this role holds when building an engaging brand. They’ll be passionate about design, have an eye for detail and an enthusiasm to flex their creativity.
The main responsibilities of the Junior Graphic Designer role includes:
Brand Development:
- Assist our Senior Brand Manager designing packaging, menus, signage and other collateral ensuring consistency throughout all touchpoints.
- Assist in the development of the Mason & Fifth’s brand guidelines and identity.
- Supporting the art direction of photoshoots.
Digital Design:
- Assist our Senior Brand Manager to design compelling visual assets for Mason & Fifth buildings and all sub-brands (restaurant, wellness space, workspace) for websites, email marketing and promotional materials.
- Assist our Social Media Manager with any visual assets needed for social media channels (LinkedIn and Instagram).
- Optimise digital designs for all platforms and devices.
- Produce illustrations, infographics and custom graphics where needed to support marketing initiatives.
- Resizing and artworking imagery where necessary.
Print Design:
- Create eye-catching print materials such as brochures, flyers, postcards, company decks, in-studio collateral (handbooks, how-to’s, signage)
- Updating existing printed materials, as regularly as the business needs.
- Prepare files for print and digital production, high quality outputs.
Project Management:
- Manage multiple design projects, ensuring timely delivery.
- Liaise with print vendors to ensure high-quality production.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 1 - 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficient in Graphic Design Software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma)
- Strong sense of composition, typography and image selection
- Experience producing work suitable for print and digital outlets
