Graphic Designer - Le Col - London
Job Description
Le Col is a rapidly growing premium cycling apparel brand on a mission to establish its reputation as the best performance cycling brand in the world.
Role: The Graphic Designer will interpret and implement the Le Col brand across a broad range of projects from digital, social, print, and motion.
The ideal candidate will have a strong, traditional design background with digital experience. We’re looking for someone who is concept-driven, has an eye for detail, and has the skills to both ideate and deliver. The designer will need the flexibility to work across timelines that range from immediate to long-term.
We’re a cycling brand at heart, but we’re looking for someone with that same passion for creative & design, whether you wear Lycra or not.
Reporting to: Head of Brand
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
— Creation of digital assets for use on our website, emails, and social media platforms.
— Design for a broad range of projects including digital, marketing, photoshoots, packaging, and advertising.
— Curation and retouching of campaign imagery to use across a number of channels.
— Maintaining the high visual standard Le Col sets and assist others in delivering this standard.
— Ensuring consistency and quality execution in line with brand guidelines.
— To bring fresh ideas and approaches to building the brand.
— Working on wireframes and website enhancements to enhance the website experience.
— Regularly communicating with the digital team and be able to fulfil requests in a short time frame.
— Manage multiple work streams and meet deadlines.
Key Skills:
— Minimum 2-3 years digital design experience
— Evidenced experience of working in a fast-paced design role. Retail/premium brand or agency/design studio.
— Demonstrable an impressive digital design portfolio for social media, ecommerce, email, display, etc
— Experience working on branding projects from conception to completion.
— Adobe Creative Suite (In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop essential).
— Experience in creating video edits in Adobe After Effects.
— Additional skills in moving image/motion design would be an asset but not essential.
— Ability to manage own workflow and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
— UX/UI experience would be beneficial.
— Understanding of brand values, guidelines, and briefs.
— Active interest and knowledge of current design, media, and social trends
— Traditional typography and print skills.
— Rigorous attention to detail.
— Be able to work independently as part of a wider team.
— Good communication skills, written & spoken.
