We are looking for an Executive Production Director to join Studio Hearst, the creative commercial and marketing outfit at Hearst UK, you will play a pivotal role in leading a dynamic team responsible for multiplatform design, art direction, shoot production, and video direction. This senior position demands a strategic thinker and seasoned professional with the ability to manage diverse workflows, ensuring the efficient production and best-in-class execution of creative projects.

ABOUT THE ROLE

1. Quality

• Set and maintain high standards for creative output across all projects

• Oversee the execution of creative concepts in alignment with brand guidelines

• Provide leadership in delivery, ensuring consistency, innovation and excellence in every aspect of production

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders from sales, commercial operations, consumer and brand teams to deliver output that resonates with relevant audiences

2. Efficiency

• Develop and implement streamlined workflows to optimise production processes

• Effectively manage a multidisciplinary team, assigning tasks, managing traffic and ensuring collaboration for seamless project execution

• Prioritise good workflow and allocate resources to meet tight deadlines while maintaining creative excellence

• Implement project management tools, ticketing systems and production templates to enhance team efficiency

3. Profitability

• Help manage production budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within financial constraints

• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality

• Drive initiatives to maximise revenue and profitability for Studio

• Establish and monitor key performance indicators to track the financial success of projects

4. Stakeholder Management

• Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure alignment with project objectives

• Build and maintain strong relationships with brand teams, commercial teams and marketing teams

• Act as a liaison between the aforementioned teams, addressing concerns, offering solutions and providing strategic guidance

5. Leadership and People Development

• Lead by example, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment

• Mentor and develop team members, nurturing skills and promoting a competitive culture of excellence

• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback for professional growth

ABOUT YOU

• Proven experience in a senior production or commercial content role within a media or publishing environment

• Strong understanding of print design, digital design, art direction, shoot production, and video direction

• Demonstrable ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, to an exceptional standard, ensuring on-brand, on-time and on-budget delivery

• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams

• Good financial acumen and significant experience managing budgets to achieve profitability targets

• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to make strategic decisions under pressure
