The Person We Are Looking For

An experienced digital designer (London based + remote) with a track record for delivering outstanding responsive digital design solutions. Detail-oriented and an excellent collaborator that bridges the gap between client briefs, user needs and the development team.

Key Responsibilities

Designing digital, browser based experiences from end to end:

  • Research
  • UX/UI (user flows, wireframes, high fidelity designs)
  • Handover and scoping for build
  • Design QA
  • Evaluating success and optimising
  • Building and maintaining a design system
  • Help team members to deliver best-in-class UX/UI work
  • Collaborate with the creative team to deliver pre-sale mocks and come up with ideas for digital experiences
  • Articulate the value of your design solutions to internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Working with the Head of design and Marketing manager to continually improve our brand presence in presentations, and online (Website and Social platforms)
  • Artwork client assets to static traffic drivers for the Spotify platform
  • Flexible working hours to help service our US clients, which may include public holidays

Essential Requirements

Experience and Knowledge:

  • An online portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing for the web and versatility in your style and techniques
  • At least three years of experience working in a fast paced agency environment
  • Can demonstrate that you’ve worked on live digital products (websites, applications) that are of a relevant scale
  • An understanding of the entire end­ to­ end design process, from research and ideation to problem-solving through to detailed UX and visual design
  • An understanding of developing and following visual language and design systems
  • An appreciation for the broader contexts that inform good UX design - UI / Copy / Content
  • A deep understanding of the limitations and emerging advancements in web design
  • Understands the requirements and limitations of responsive web design
  • Has had experience guiding junior designers
  • Being able to work both remotely and from our London office (hybrid working)

Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Expert Figma user
  • Managing and using design systems
  • Creating animated prototypes
  • Confident allrounder in the Adobe Suite, specifically:
  • After Effects
  • Photoshop
  • Illustrator
  • And very occasionally Indesign!
  • Motion and interaction design for the web
  • Visually articulating an idea or your thinking with the appropriate tools
  • Clearly presenting and articulating your design decisions directly to the the team and stakeholders
  • Manage your time and ensure that work gets delivered on time and within budget
  • Analysing digital products and identifying opportunities for UX improvement

Bonus Points

  • Familiar with working in the GSuite of products - Slides / Docs / Sheets
  • A strong understanding of SEO best practices and content strategy
  • 3D modelling
  • Experience working with an Agile team
  • Illustration
